The Writing Mother forum can be found online here. There are only a few guidelines:

1. Trim your posts -> Leave enough lines of the email you are responding to so that we know what the heck you are talking about.

2. Use relevant subject lines -> If you want to earn extra brownie points and the love and adoration of your list-sisters, use terms such as: OT - Off Topic, RESOURCE - a link for writers, ADMIN - a question or comment regarding admin policy ... you can make up your own as long as they are valid!

3. Saturdays are days for shopping here on The Writing Mother! -> All ads must be labeled "AD" in the subject line. What is an ad you ask? It's anything that is requesting that the reader buy something or sign up for something. And ad is NOT a blog post or a self congratulations post about an event or something exciting in your life. Remember: Ads have a 'call to action' that requests the reader buy or sign up for something.

4. Treat your list members as you would like to be treated. -> This list is unmoderated and will remain so on a list-wide scale. However, from time to time and as needed, specific list members may be moderated after several warnings.

5. Please do not post entire articles or any copyrighted materials to the list. It is perfectly ok to post a link to an article or quote a relevant part but it is not ok to reproduce the entire article in a post to the group.

6. Please note: Please ensure that if you are signing up with a Yahoo ID that your profile page is clean and able to be viewed by children!
